A while back, Melissa Feitsam (Senior Executive Director with Thirty-One Gifts) shared a crazy cool website called issuu.com on her blog and how to upload any pdf so you can share it with virtually anyone via text, social media or in emails, etc.  The first file I ever tried was the Spring/Summer 2015 Thirty-One catalog and since then I have been loving how easy it is to market my business.

How do I use issuu.com?

It’s very easy… just follow these step by step instructions.  Remember this is the FREE version.  If you want to upgrade to Issuu Plus, there’s a button you can click on the issuu.com homepage.

Go to issuu.com

Sign in – I like to use my Facebook account but you can use any social media account that you have.

Select a file to get started – I used a pdf of our 2015 Spring/Summer catalog which I had saved on my computer from my company’s website.

Add Description – Then just add details in the description about the file you’re loading.  If it’s a catalog, give 1-2 sentences about it.  If it’s a sale flier or recruiting flier, again, give file 1-2 sentences about it.  Don’t forget to put a link to your blog too!

Click Publish Now

Now you have a direct link to share on social media.  Then just highlight, copy the link and paste it!  Easy Peesy to share whenever someone asks you to see the catalog or flier! 🙂

**QUICK TIPS**

  • Before you log out of www.issuu.com, bookmark the page with your direct link. Then you’ll always have a quick way to find it!
  • Also, send a tweet, pin or facebook post on social media, there are share buttons right on the page with your new uploaded file.  It takes 2 sec’s to submit & helps get your name out there!
